How Ring Sizer handles photos, measurements, and support requests.

On-device processing
Ring Sizer processes measurement photos on your iPhone. We do not upload measurement photos or analysis to our servers. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking. The bundled image-processing and machine-learning libraries run locally.
Information saved on your device
Confirmed measurements are stored in the app's Documents folder. They include the selected or captured photo, available image metadata, camera motion and tilt readings when captured in the app, detected card/ring/finger geometry, hand masks and skeletons, manual adjustments, results and notes. Imported photo metadata may contain location if it is present in the image you select. Library imports do not provide the app's camera motion sample stream. Preferences are stored locally.
Permissions and deletion
Camera access is used to take measurement photos. Motion readings help show the level guide and record camera tilt. The system photo picker shares only the images you choose. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
Saved measurements remain until you delete them. Delete individual measurements from History or the result screen, or use Settings → Saved measurements → Delete all measurements. You may also manage their folders in Files. These actions do not delete source images from your Photos library.
Backups, sharing and external links
iOS may include app data in device or iCloud backups according to your settings. Files you copy or share go to the destination you select. Those copies and backups are controlled by you and their providers; deletion inside the app does not delete them. Links to external size-chart websites are governed by those websites' privacy policies.
Support
When you email ringsizer@x-tech.io, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request. You can ask us to delete support correspondence, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. Please avoid sending card details or other information unnecessary for your support request.
